South Florida Real Estate Blog - Updates & Realty News Palm Beach County Home Prices Rise July 24th, 2009 8:47 PM Defying a flood of foreclosures and a rising jobless rate, Palm Beach County home prices spiked in June to their highest point in nine months. The national median home price also rose from May to June, and a sudden spurt of optimism about the housing market and the economy sent the Dow Jones Industrial Average above 9,000 for the first time since January. The median price of an existing single-family home in Palm Beach County rose to $250,300, up 7 percent from May and the highest level since October, the Florida Association of Realtors said Thursday.
